A modular storage system designed entirely without screws or adhesive components, including optional high-end drawers. The name 1050 derives from the width of one module, 1050x350mm, which equals to a 3:1 ratio and is high enough to accommodate large books and vinyls.
Basically, there are only two different parts, the frames are made of steel, the boards are made of mdf and feature two slots running along the edges where the frames fit in. one can easily build small or large storage/shelves systems of unlimited expandability in two dimensions, without the need of any tools or manuals. it includes the option of high-end drawers which can be added or moved without changing the existing structure.
The six-module version was part of the TENT (100% East) Design Festival press room equipment in London in '07.
